In this build:

Fixes & Performance Enhancements

• New “Validate” button on the Edit ERP Connection page.  This will validate the catalog against the selected data source and provides better error messages than just logging in to Designer and finding out there are no connections available.  It will notify you if:

  • The catalog has any Xml errors

  • The Measures use columns that don’t exist

  • The Relationships use columns that don’t exist

  • All other normal catalog validations like relationships using tables that don’t exist, names not being unique, etc.

  • It will not validate if the tables exist in the data source, which is still oustanding

• The Excel Add-In will work with Azure hosted FC Server that uses TLS 1.2

• Fix to enable renaming of reports in Repository Explorer in FastClose Server

• Add support for SQL Server SSL Connection Encryption

• Hierarchy builder now checks that hiearchy calcs reside in the hierarchy dimension

• No exception when removing the last dimension from a condition

• Attribute dimensions to the right of a hierarchy will display blanks for aggregate nodes

• Fix for the use of constant variables in calculations

• Some catalog changes for SAP

NB: 2.3.9 jumped due to a build numbering issue.
