How to Upload an Override Catalog

How to Upload an Override Catalog

In certain circumstances you may be working with FastClose or a partner to create or amend functionality delivered through your ERP database schema.

In this scenario, you will be provided with a so called "override" catalog file to amend standard behaviour. It is necessary to apply this override catalog to your FastClose Server to deploy the changes.

Steps to deploy the override catalog file:

  1. Save the override catalog file to the Downloads folder or desktop on your PC.

  2. Log in to the Administration web app by launching Edge or Chrome and browsing to http://[ApplicationServer]:5101 where [ApplicationServer] is the name of the server you have installed FastClose on. Log in using the "Sign In" link in the navigation menu on the left or the button in the Home page.

  3. Expand the Connections menu entry on the left hand side of the page and select "Catalogs"

Version 3.3 and later: The page will update to confirm the upload and will display the name of the override - take note of that name.
