In certain circumstances you may be working with FastClose or a partner to create or amend functionality delivered through your ERP database schema.
In this scenario, you will be provided with a so called "override" catalog to amend standard behaviour. It is necessary to apply this override catalog to your FastClose Server to deploy the changes.
Steps to deploy the override catalog:
Save the override catalog to the desktop on your PC.
Log in to the administration web app by launching Edge or Chrome and browsing to http://[ApplicationServer]:5101 where “[ApplicationServer]” is the name of the server you have installed FastClose on. Log in using the "Log in" link at the top right of the screen
Expand the Connections menu entry on the left hand side of the page and select "Catalogs"
Click on the "Upload Override Catalog..." button, this will allow you to select the override catalog that you saved to your desktop, then click OK
The page will update to tell you that the upload has been successful and will then display the path on the server that it has been uploaded to as below:
If there was already a file at the same location with the same name, it will have been overwritten.
Select the path text and copy it to the clipboard.
Click OK, and then on "Edit" next to the catalog you wish to augment, for Epicor sites, this will usually be "Epicor 10".
Paste the path into the 'Customer Override File Path' edit box, highlighted in the image below in yellow, and click Save.
To see the result of the catalog change it will be necessary to restart your FastClose client app, if it is already running.
