After a FastClose Server upgrade, it is necessary to update the client software installed on user PCs.
There is no need for users to uninstall a previous version first, they can install the new version straight over the top of the old one.
The installers can be downloaded from your FastClose Server using Chrome or Edge via the FastClose Server downloads page, typically found at http://[ApplicationServer]:5101/Admin/Downloads
where [ApplicationServer]
is the name of your FastClose Server.
You can also find the server address in the login dialog, which may also provide a direct link to download the installer:
On the FastClose Server Home page, click the Downloads button:

Choose the installers to download and run them. Most commonly this will be the Designer app and the Excel Add-In.
The user might need local administrator rights on their PC to be able to complete the installs, depending on whether a per-user or per-machine installation type was previously used.
There are no tricky questions in the installation wizard. Tick the box to agree to the licence conditions, then click Next, Next and Finish.
