Configuring Terminal Services

Configuring Terminal Services

To save a bit of space, the FastClose Reader and Designer desktop products use the same files, installed by default in C:\Program Files\FastClose\WindowsClient.

The product knows which interface to present to the user based on a command line switch that gets set in the application's shortcut.

When installing on Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Services / Citrix, these shortcuts are defined manually by the system administrator.

When deploying the Reader application, the shortcut can be deployed "as is" without amendment.

When deploying the Designer application shortcut the following command line switch is also required so that the user sees the Designer interface rather than the Reader.

Add this to the deployed shortcut:

/Reader=false
