Creating a Nextworld Datasource

So, to add to a new Nextworld instance as a data source , click “Create New Data Source" and choose "Nextworld API Data Source". Fill in the connection information to connect to your Nextworld instance. The fields are:

• Name

  • The name of the connection, the best practice is to name the connection to match your company name or environment (eg: Production)

• Authentication API URL

  • The Nextworld authentication endpoint. The default is usually correct for production environments.

• Username

  • The username of the Nextworld login. This is usually a dedicated service account created in Nextworld for FastClose client apps to use.

• Password

  • The password of the Nextworld login

• Release Version Override

  • Leave this blank

• Max Query Results per Page

  • Leave this as 0

You can test the connection information to see if all is in order. If there are any errors, a message will appear that should help diagnose it. Click the “Create” button to save your changes.
