Installation of Scheduler Service

From a web browser on the FastClose Server, click on the 'Downloads' icon, either in the middle or bottom left.

Expand the 'Server Software' heading and then click the link for the FastClose Worker Service.

Many customers choose to install the Worker Service on the same box as the FastClose Server though it can be installed elsewhere if necessary. Depending on the number and complexity of scheduled reports, the worker service can consume significant CPU and memory when running jobs.

Run the installer. The worker service will install as a Windows service, listening to FastClose Server on port 5102 by default.

Sign in to the Admin web app if you haven't already, expand the 'System' menu option on the left hand side and click on 'Worker Services':

Click on 'Add Worker Service' and configure as below, if it's running on the same server as FastClose Server:

Click 'Save' when done.
